A meter number is a unique identification number/serial number associated with your electricity meter. The electricity meter measures how much electricity is used in a home or business. Each meter number is specific to the individual meter, allowing Viddakraft to keep track of which measurements belong to which customers and addresses.
When you move to a new home or switch electricity suppliers, you will often be asked for the meter number to ensure the correct meter is read and billed.
The meter number is usually on the electricity meter itself, and it can also be found on your electricity bill.
Meter numbers are typically 16 digits long and usually start with 57, 69, or 73.
