What is the grid invoice?

What is the grid invoice?

The grid fee is a charge paid to cover the costs of maintaining and operating the electricity grid that transports power from producers to consumers. This fee ensures that the power grid is reliable and safe. The price of the grid fee can vary based on where you live, as it may cost more to deliver power in some areas. Money from the grid fee is also used to invest in new technology that can make the power grid more efficient. Currently, there are around 160 different grid companies in Norway. The most popular grid companies are, for example, Elvia, BKK, and Tensio. You cannot change your grid company unless you move to another city.
